When installing, regardless if using pkg or installing from ports, the process stalls at the using ldconf part. It can sit there for hours. why so slow? it seems to go through finally, but several hours at 100% cpu must be very wrong. I have a fresh installation of freebsd 10.2. I have followed the steps in the handbook https://www.freebsd.org/doc/handbook/linuxemu-lbc-install.html I have also added a line regarding linprocfs to my /etc/fstab, thi sis not mentioned in the handbook anymore... The machine is not slow, it is a 4-core intel cpu with each core at 3.7 GHz.
Is this still a problem?
(In reply to Tijl Coosemans from comment #1) I no longer use FreeBSD, so I can't tell.
ports r421387 fixes some ldconfig problems so I assume this has been fixed.
