Description Martin Waschbüsch 2015-11-08 15:12:27 UTC
Hi there,

it seems that the jump from 1.12 to 1.14 changed default build options?
Where before it said

OPTIONS_DEFAULT=XCB GLIB X11

now it seems to be

OPTIONS_DEFAULT=OPENGL XCB GLIB X11

This ups the number of dependencies quite a bit and forces people who had no use for the OpenGL option to compile for themselves if they want to avoid said dependencies...
Was there a reason this needed to be done? Or could we perhaps revert to the previous (and expected) behaviour?

Thanks,

Martin

I think OpenGL was added to default because WebKitGTK+ needs cairo-gl.
