Comment on attachment 163118 [details] Proposed patch for games/naev-data (since 384609 revision) Currently, ndata-0.6.1.zip archive from SourceForge doesn't contain VERSION file, which may produce following warning: -8<-- Warning: [nzip_readFile] Error reading VERSION from archive Warning: [nzip_readFile] No such file Warning: [ndata_testVersion] ndata version inconsistancy with this version of Naev! Warning: [ndata_testVersion] Expected ndata version 0.6.1 got 0.-1.18433. Warning: [ndata_testVersion] Naev will probably crash now as the versions are probably not compatible. -->8- I reported this to developer(s), but I guess it's ok for now, because this is not an error. Also, I tested games/naev-devel (updated to 0.6.1 version with new ports changes, attachment 155439 [details]), which uses sources from GitHub. It generates correct ndata.zip file with VERSION file.
Created attachment 163128 [details] Proposed patch for games/naev-data (since 384609 revision) Updated distinfo file for games/naev-data port with fixed ndata-0.6.1.zip archive from SourceForge.
The games/naev-data and games/naev ports were updated in ports 401619 and ports 401620 revisions, independently from this PR. The mentioned revisions contains other changes, including support for previous FreeBSD release versions (e.g. 9.3), which is more complete. Therefore, this PR is closed.
