Reported by Ernie Luzar luzar722@gmail.com Message-ID: <57050250.4020700@gmail.com> In particular, on page: https://www.freebsd.org/releases/10.3R/announce.html, the following text: "SHA256 and MD5 hashes for the release ISO, memory stick, and SD card images are included at the bottom of this message." Should read: "SHA256 and SHA256 hashes for the release ISO, memory stick, and SD card images are included at the bottom of this message.
(In reply to Xin LI from comment #0) In sure you mean "SHA256 and SHA512 hashes ..."
Would it be a problem if I just changed this? Not sure on the etiquette of changing release notes.
(In reply to Chris Rees from comment #2) > Would it be a problem if I just changed this? Yes. Please don't. Release notes for 11.x and prior are immutable after the final release build. And, 10.3 is no longer supported anyway. (I actually thought I closed this PR based on the latter point a few weeks ago.)
Thanks, thought they were supposed to be immutable. I'll let RE do the closing then :)
10.3-RELEASE has reached end of life; as result, closing this PR.
