Hi there,

The version of GNOME that comes with 10.3-RELEASE has been announced as 

    * GNOME has been updated to version 3.16.2.

in the 10.3-RELEASE announcement page [1]. 

Correct version number for the GNOME package (which is x11/gnome3 in ports) should be 3.18.0 and announcement notes should be updated accordingly.

Problem still exists as of today, but FreeBSD 11.0-RELEASE is out and I am closing the bug as there is no interest in fixing.
