While building this port worked flawlessly for ages, I have encountered this for the past two days: --------------------------------------%<------------------------------------ (pts/2)[root@mail:~]# cd /usr/ports/mail/qmail-ldap && make patch ===> Found saved configuration for qmail-ldap-1.03.20120221_1 ===> qmail-ldap-1.03.20120221_1 depends on file: /usr/local/sbin/pkg - found => qmail-ldap-1.03-20060201-SRS.patch doesn't seem to exist in /var/ports/distfiles/qmail. => Attempting to fetch http://qmail-ldap-smtpauthuser.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/qmail-ldap-1.03-20060201-SRS.patch fetch: http://qmail-ldap-smtpauthuser.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/qmail-ldap-1.03-20060201-SRS.patch: Not Found => Attempting to fetch http://distcache.FreeBSD.org/ports-distfiles/qmail/qmail-ldap-1.03-20060201-SRS.patch fetch: http://distcache.FreeBSD.org/ports-distfiles/qmail/qmail-ldap-1.03-20060201-SRS.patch: Not Found => Couldn't fetch it - please try to retrieve this => port manually into /var/ports/distfiles/qmail and try again. *** Error code 1 Stop. make[1]: stopped in /basejail/usr/ports/mail/qmail-ldap *** Error code 1 --------------------------------------%<------------------------------------ The manual instructions did not quite work, either, but this may be due to limited experience. Any ideas what is wrong, apart from the fact the the URLs actually do not exist anymore? Thanks a lot! Chris
Please disable the SRS option, the code is no longer available, it used to be on googlecode but the maintainer did not bother to relocate it to Github with a few mouse clicks, so we consider this code dead. If you want to dig around and find a new download location and hints that the patch is still maintained, feel free to reopen the bug report and show us where to get the necessary patch file.
The port is unmaintained, delete the maintainer-feedback flag.
I offer my apologies and am reverting the previous change, reinstate the flag, but leave closed. The maintainer is free to reopen with a patch to fix SRS, in which case please prefix the summary (in the grey line) with "[MAINTAINER UPDATE]" (there's a edit link to the right of it).
