Description Graham Perrin freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2016-08-09 17:50:11 UTC
FreeBSD-11.0-BETA4-amd64-memstick.img on an
HP EliteBook 8540p notebook with UEFI enabled.

Immediately after the loader, the GUI is torn. After a while there appears a torn chunk of red towards the top of the screen.

I no longer use that type of notebook (with NVIDIA), and I don't expect to find an opportunity to test with the same hardware anywhere in the near future.

I do have tearing with UEFI (without CSM) with Radeon hardware in an EliteBook 8570p, but it's visually different from the 2016 photograph of the bug with NVIDIA.

> 11.0-BETA4

Let's close this with an assumption that with a supported release, it's no longer an issue.
