Description O. Hartmann 2016-10-27 07:44:00 UTC
Booting FreeBSD CURRENT which is a NanoBSD UEFI bootable image as a guest, it is impossible to set the graphical resolution beyond 800x600 in X11! We use the most recent ports and most recent CURRENT as of today (r307993).

The console starts with something like 1024x768, but when the X11 system is active - using the port emulators/virtualbox-ose-additions and from this the X11 driver "vboxvideo".

Somehow this is boring, even since the console shows a higher resolution at the start.

Usin a MBR legacy booting image, the resolution is stuck with 1024x768. This is ridiculous.

We have 5.2.4. Does the problem exist on the recent version or is it overcome by events?
