Description Frank a. Greco 2016-12-10 17:10:51 UTC
FreeBSD 11 current package for firefox plays sound as root but not as user. Konqueror works fine. Disabling alsa and compiling did not fix problem. Disabling pulse audio did fix problem. I did not have this problem with FreeBSD 10.2. I'm happy with things as they are but, as an aesthetic point, I wanted to let you know in case you wanted to fix it.

Regards,

Frank Greco

After confirming bug 211684 fix try wiping ~/.config/pulse then restart the server: "pacmd exit" then reload browser tab. Otherwise, not enough details.

2016Q3 package set as part of 11.0-RELEASE media is NOT supported anymore. Make sure you're using 2016Q4 or /head.
