Hi, OS: FreeBSD 11.0-RELEASE-p9 amd64 Issue: py27-requests1-1.2.3 conflicts with py27-requests-2.17.3 Comment: I've installed security/py-certbot with his dependency py27-requests. Later I try to install www/radicale with his dependency py27-requests1. Result: Checking integrity... done (1 conflicting) - py27-requests1-1.2.3 conflicts with py27-requests-2.17.3 on /usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/requests/__init__.py Regards
requests (v1.0) is only required when the HTTP option is enabled, which isn't by default. Short of asking upstream to add requests 2.x support to its 1.1 branch, I don't think there's much we can do here. If nothing is done, its quite likely that this port will eventually be deprecated anyway. On that note, upstream appears to have released version 2.0.x of this software (which is NOT backward compatible, and I see no mention of requests in any *_requires lines in setup.py (either required or optional) Assign to maintainer
