Description eric 2017-06-13 09:55:53 UTC
When adding PFTable in the config file for openvpn-auth-ldap and then restart openvpn it (openvpn ) crashes with the message:
Assertion failed: (stack != NULL), function +[TRAutoreleasePool addObject:], file TRAutoreleasePool.m, line 203.

Correctly specify category/portname, assign to maintainer

Eric,

I am not an Objective C developer and do not have an OpenVPN/LDAP test bed to test against either. There's not much I can do on my end for now.

I found https://github.com/threerings/openvpn-auth-ldap/ but am not sure if it's authentic, or useful as an upstream, it seems to have been left to rot for a few months with open issues. If you could try that and possibly mention a particular commit that fixes the crash for you, I could cherry-pick that commit.

Eric, does the bug persist if you build the latest openvpn-auth-ldap from the Git repo mentioned above?
