rsyslog can be compiled with database output of various kinds. The source-distribution contains SQL-scripts to create the required database(s) and tables. These files should be added in the package if such an option is selected (IMHO)
+1 on adding these. A pkg-message pointing the user to them for a good/better post-installation user experience would also be nice.
