Hi,

I receive a lot of errors on ThinkPad T520 (Intel only) laptop with i915kms driver and 'intel' driver in xorg.conf at /var/log/messages (attached).

The CPU/GPU is Intel (R) Core(TM) i7-2640M.

The OS is FreeBSD 11.1-RELEASE-p1, the 1064 PID is 'X' (xorg).

Regards,
vermaden

The common errors from the log:

4352 t520 kernel: error: [drm:pid1064:__gen6_gt_force_wake_get] *ERROR* Timed out waiting for forcewake to ack request.
4155 t520 kernel: error: [drm:pid1064:__gen6_gt_wait_for_thread_c0] *ERROR* GT thread status wait timed out
4145 t520 kernel: error: [drm:pid1064:gen6_gt_check_fifodbg] *ERROR* MMIO read or write has been dropped 3

Does this happen before / after suspend+resume (or both)?
Comment 3 vermaden 2017-09-13 23:28:48 UTC
Both.

As 'modesetting' driver is being used even on 'intel' machines this does not neet to be open.
