SHOWVER option patch

When the ESXi host is 5.5, the guest operating system will be displayed as "Other (32-bit)".
In order to avoid this problem, OS version detection can be specified by OPTIONS.
The default is enabled.

VMware ESXi 5.5

% uname -rm
11.1-RELEASE-p1 amd64

I think that this bug can be closed as fixed. The provided patch or something very, very similar was part of the open-vm-tools 10.1.10 release in the 2017Q3 branch.

Can you confirm the fix with open-vm-tools 10.1.10_4 or later?
