Description Augusto Torres 2017-12-13 17:09:16 UTC
I have installed servers running FreeBSD 11.0-Stable

After updating the ports, I'm getting the message below:

/! \ ERROR: /! \

Ports Collection support for your FreeBSD version has ended, and no ports are guaranteed to build on this system. Please upgrade to a supported release.

No support will be provided if you silence this message by defining
ALLOW_UNSUPPORTED_SYSTEM.

Ok, I can update the packages by adding this to make.conf
ALLOW_UNSUPPORTED_SYSTEM = yes

But a question arises, would not it be in "September 30, 2021" the end of support for Stable 11, as quoted in Lifecycle?

That is because 11-STABLE is supported, but at this time 11-STABLE is 11.1-STABLE and you are running 11.0-STABLE, so you need to update.
