Description aoh 2018-01-17 21:48:46 UTC
Where should I put named.conf? Handbook says /etc/namedb/named.conf and man says /etc/named.conf

"pkg install bind912" installs the file /usr/local/etc/namedb/named.conf

I fixed the faq to reference /usr/local/etc/namedb in doc r51390. The handbook chapter with all the BIND9 references is for FreeBSD 9 and before, which shipped with FreeBSD. It is no longer relevant.
