Description Kevin Zheng 2018-02-22 03:34:17 UTC
LibreOffice uses excessive CPU with documents open, even if it's a blank document, no matter what program it's in (Writer, Calc, etc.)

'top' shows soffice.bin active on the CPU most times; one would expect it to be in a wait state.

'Excessive' because when you open a model dialog in LibreOffice, the excessive CPU consumption ceases. For instance, Help -> About LibreOffice opens a modal dialog, and as long as it's open CPU usage is minimal.

Build ID: FreeBSD ports r5.3.7_4
CPU Threads: 4; OS Version: FreeBSD 11.1; UI Render: default; Layout Engine: new;
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); Calc: group

Hello, can you help check does it be solved by LibreOffice 6?
