I believe this issue is VERY old, but was triaged several years ago. Can't say if this is a regression, I usually build against base.

I think you've run into a different issue. A regression with some recent changes. Can you please update your ports tree and try again? (All changes leading to the regression have been reverted).

If this is not the same issue as described in bug 226135, please re-open this issue, with system/environment information and steps to reproduce with a current ports tree
