Two attached files: 1. patch to update www/e2guardian from 3.5.1 to actual supported stable version. 2. shar file (to get the same result as after applying patch). New port version includes some fixes and improvements: - fixed build failure with "Include DNS authentication plugin"=ON (solution obtained from FreeBSD forums) - pkg-message includes performance tuning recommendations This port running without any issues on our production systems for 2 weeks already. This port should also fix https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=223486

Hi What about doing this? - repocopy www/e2guardian into www/e2guardian3 (v.3.5.1) Eguardian 3.5.x series became DEPRECATED deprecate and keep it for more 6 months? - update www/e2guardian to 4.1.4 - repocopy www/e2guardian into www/e2guardian-devel (v5.0.0beta) - If you want - add an UPDATING entry e2guardian has been updated to 4.1.4... "If you are upgrading from a previous e2guardian major release you may need to alter your config files" https://github.com/e2guardian/e2guardian/releases and also inform that if you would like to keep using 3.5.x, please run the collowing command to update pkg database: # pkg set -n e2guardian:e2guardian3 # pkg set -o www/e2guardian:www/e2guardian3 And it's also necessary to config CONFLICTS in all ports.
