Description Martin Birgmeier 2018-05-08 20:01:43 UTC
etc/pam.d/rsh should be added to bsdrcmds so that rshd can work. The version from 11.1 can be used for that purpose.

Just registering my interest in this as well - it bit me when I upgraded a bunch of systems to 12-STABLE. So "Affects Only Me" -> "Affects Some People".

Just adding me to the "interested" list, here's the /etc/pam.d/rsh
file I had to add to make net/bsdrcmds work:

 ----------------- cut here ---------------------------------------------------
#
# PAM configuration for the "rsh" service
#

# auth
auth required pam_rhosts.so no_warn allow_root

# account
account required pam_nologin.so
account required pam_unix.so

# session
session required pam_permit.so

# password
password required pam_deny.so
