Description Bernard Spil freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2018-06-10 11:07:31 UTC
Placeholder PR to register as "blocks" for other PRs.

OpenSSL 1.1 intruduces a new API. Not all ports are compatible with the new API.

Since FreeBSD intends to update OpenSSL in base to 1.1.x these ports should be either fixed or removed.
Comment 1 Bernard Spil freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2018-06-12 14:57:32 UTC
The intent to update OpenSSL to 1.1 in 12 has now officially been documented in Bug #228912

For reference the exp-run for OpenSSL 1.1.1 in base is now in progress in PR 231931, http://package18.nyi.freebsd.org/build.html?mastername=headamd64PR231931-default&build=2018-10-04_07h49m12s
