I understand that it's just the way that upstream packages it.
But this thing draws in all kind of dependencies like cacti when all I want is the nagios-checks.
It would be nice if the cacti and nagios-parts could be split up.
Also, the nagios-checks assume that the "mysql" binary is in the path, which it isn't by default when the checks are run from NRPE.

Port is unmaintained since ports r474907, so please provide a patch.
As you seem to be a user of this port, maybe you would also like to adopt it.
