Major update from 2.8.3 to 2.9.4. The port has been almost completely redesigned.
This issue obsoletes bug #226465.

The port security/ossec-hids-client has been renamed to security/ossec-hids-agent.

The following svn command needs to be run on ports tree root before applying diff:
svn move security/ossec-hids-client security/ossec-hids-agent

I tried to build this, but got:

** Missing /usr/ports/security/ossec-hids-server/files/template-pushed-sample.xml.in for ossec-hids-server-2.9.4.

which I think may be because I deleted empty files from the port dir, since it's usually a mistake to commit empty files. I went back and looked at the file in the tarball and it is empty there as well. Should it be empty?

I managed to get the non-empty version of the file out of the patch in PR 226465, but still ran into issues. Can you post an updated tarball?

Please see bug #232794. It is the update to 3.1.0. I have removed any empty files there. This issue is now obsolete.
