Description Sascha Holzleiter 2018-11-03 23:16:55 UTC
The port creates /var/run/knot and /var/db/knot with root:wheel as owner.
This prevents knot from starting. These directories should really belong to knot:knot. As this also happens if you update to the lastest version this could bite quite a few users.

knot2 chown added

Added a chown command.

Succesfully tested both manual and in poudriere, against 11.2 amd64.
11.2 i386 still has atomic issues.

(In reply to Sascha Holzleiter from comment #1)

Because setting up poudriere costed me a lot of time I didn't see your patch up until my reply just ago.

I was unaware it could be done that simple - and therefor prefer yours.

Patch is now included in PR 233199
This PR can be closed (but I don't seem able to do so).
