test-mktemp Script Execution mktemp(1) is not intended for the operation, to mass-produce a lot of zero-byte files in /.
I don't understand the problem you are fixing. This script creates exactly *one* temporary file, and removes it right after creation. Where is this "mass-produce" and "lot" coming from?

CONFVAR_SUBSTITUTION_FILES Description correction
plugins/node.d/amavis.in Change of File verification method

I still don't understand.
