Description Mark Knight 2018-12-24 10:44:00 UTC
Thanks for updating this. Unfortunately port logitechmediaserver-7.9.2.g2018.12.10 does not install and a package cannot be created. Perl on my system is perl5-5.24.4_2.

$sudo make clean all package

Maybe it is the same problem as bug #213260.
Comment 3 Mark Dixon 2018-12-24 16:31:03 UTC
Probably upstream is packaging different files for different Perl versions which would render very hard to package on FreeBSD. I’m away and haven’t had a chance to look at the detail though.

I would suggest to use Perl 5.28 which is the current version in ports I think.
Comment 4 christopher.key 2019-01-10 23:08:57 UTC
I observed the same as comment #0 with 5.24.

The missing files were ending up in an arch-dependent subdir.

After updating to 5.28 the problem went away.

As described, using the matching perl version and a supported FreeBSD version allows this to build.
