During the short use of XFCE DE after a "pkg upgrade" of 12 October 2019 14:58+000 UTC the XFCE DE can shrink such that there are vertical margins of black that occur on both sides of the XFCE DE. FreeBSD 11.3 and XFCE were installed mid July 2019 with no problems nor issues in use of XFCE DE until the "pkg upgrade" of 12 October 2019 14:58+000 UTC. The last "pkg upgrade" done was 02 October 2019 0326+000 UTC and presented no issue with the XFCE DE as had been case and expected since the install of Mid July 2019.

Created attachment 208335 [details] Example of what I believe is reduced application window vertical scroll widget due to XFCE DE shrinkage This is an example of how I believe the XFCE DE vertical shrinkage impacts the vertical scroll widget of an application. An example of the what the same application window vertical scroll widget looks like with no XFCE DE shrinkage will follow when the system is rebooted and allow confirmation or denial of my sense that the vertical scroll widget of application window is reduced.
Created attachment 208340 [details] Example of reduced application window vertical scroll widget due to XFCE DE shrinkage - xfce4-terminal This is the same XFCE session clearly demonstrates the vertical shrinkage of XFCE session started as attachment for "20191015-081600+0000-UTC-1571127360-FreeBSD-11.3-STABLE-Bug-XFCE-Bug-FreeBSD-11.3-20191012-1458+0000-UTC-Upgrade-NoDEShrinkage.png". Notice how the first character is cut off for each line of the terminal output. I have taken screen shots of two other terminals that show the same DE shrinkage issue that can be added as attachments to this bug is so requested. This attachment confirms the XFCE DE shrinkage issue.
