Created attachment 208799 [details] Patch Handbook explains what authoritative and caching nameservers are, but subsections cover just resolvers. Add a section dedicated to authoritative nameservers and explain that users must install the desired software from ports or packages.

I'm aware this was created in 2019 - while today it's 2023... dns/bind914 is gone by now - I would suggest dns/bind918 instead. Also I think dns/knot3 deserves to be mentioned there.
