As many of you know, Opera switched from their own browser engine to Blink a while back. When they did this, support for FreeBSD ceased. The latest version of Opera that is available for FreeBSD natively is 12.16 ... which is extremely outdated. It is not wise to instruct people to use a web browser from 2013. I recommend that the native version of the Opera web browser stop being recommended in the FreeBSD handbook, and only the Linux version of Opera should be recommended going forward.
It appears that the linux-opera port is also very, very outdated. It might be best just to stop recommending any version of Opera in the official handbook, unfortunately.
