Description Phillip R. Jaenke 2020-01-11 20:07:18 UTC
To be absolutely clear, net/samba410 is an absolute mess and still not fit for purpose. It cannot provision new domains, it frequently cannot join existing domains, it just does not work. This has been known for a very long time as well and not enough progress has been made.

Despite upstream discontinuing, forcing users onto net/samba410 is currently worse than having net/samba48 available.
