Default Foliate desktop shortcut points to "com.github.johnfactotum.Foliate" which doesn't exist, so nothing will open. If you issue "foliate" from the terminal, the app does open and work as expected.

I think the recent update might have broken it, let me test and fix this.

Looks like it was an issue with the shortcut itself, and I never bothered to test it. 

I have fixed it in the latest commit, let me know if this fixes the issue at your end.
