Description p5B2E9A8F 2020-05-17 12:37:44 UTC
13 Feb 2020 Update to current version. Remove BROKEN.

Why was the port deprecated on 04 Apr 2020? No PRs can be found.
Why was the port expired on 05 May 2020?

To me it looks suspect. Please review this and please give feedback.

The history is here:

https://svnweb.freebsd.org/ports/head/net-im/jitsi/Makefile?view=log&pathrev=534092

In r526743:

BROKEN= fails to start, missing requirement osgi.native

In r526075:

Remove MAINTAINER, whose email is no longer valid.

In r516887:

BROKEN=         unfetchable

So old version was unfetchable for a long time, new version (already three years old) never worked and there was no longer a maintainer!

I guess you can checkout the port and test/fix it.

Thanks Herbert for the archeology :-)

I'll close this one, but if anyone wants to create a new jitsi port, please create a new PR and submit a patch for it.

Thanks!
