The current image for the Raspberry Pi B as found on

https://download.freebsd.org/ftp/releases/arm/armv6/ISO-IMAGES/12.1/FreeBSD-12.1-RELEASE-arm-armv6-RPI-B.img.xz

seems to have problems recognising certain SoCs used in the original Raspberry Pi Model B, which results in powerd/cpufreq not recognising the CPU, thus making adaptive frequency scaling impossible.

The problem as well as a workaround are already described in a forum, but this should probably be fixed elsewhere:
