The current image for the Raspberry Pi B as found on https://download.freebsd.org/ftp/releases/arm/armv6/ISO-IMAGES/12.1/FreeBSD-12.1-RELEASE-arm-armv6-RPI-B.img.xz seems to have problems recognising certain SoCs used in the original Raspberry Pi Model B, which results in powerd/cpufreq not recognising the CPU, thus making adaptive frequency scaling impossible. The problem as well as a workaround are already described in a forum, but this should probably be fixed elsewhere: https://forums.FreeBSD.org/threads/how-to-make-powerd-works-in-freebsd-12-1-stable-over-rpi-b.72799/post-443765
