Description Serge Volkov 2020-11-01 15:38:36 UTC
The latest firefox hangs on first launch if the openh264 is not installed. This only happens for newly created users who have not yet created a profile in the directory ~/.mozilla/firefox/. This happens with me and with the latest firefox-esr. If I install openh264 package, then the firefox or firefox-esr starts normally. I use latest packages on FreeBSD 12.1/12.2 with KDE Plasma5.
