Are there any plans for this driver? Otherwise I leave this here as a reminder for other people. I think it looks rather bad for this driver because of the wifi - bluetooth combination, right?

This Realtek8723BS also comes with the Intel Atom Baytrail Z3735F Processor, which has been used for some cheap Notebooks in the past. I have got one of those. The problem with the Intel Atom Baytrail devices is that they are 64-bit machines with 32-bit UEFI firmware.
FreeBSD does not boot (yet) on machines like that, but work is being done on this (I have been involved in some Testing and it works fine!) and will probably be available for 15.0-RELEASE. That being said, in the future with the possibility to install FreeBSD on Intel Atom Baytrail devices, support for the Realtek RTL8723BS chip would be of major interest.
I therefore suggest to raise the importance of this request to more to just one person.
I personally do not care much about Bluetooth support, but support for wireless would be great.

i have a baytrail device STCK1A32WFC (it's a hdmi micro pc stick). And i think it have the efi64 (linux and bsd boot).
The problem on bsd is the i915 driver (Freebsd,Openbsd not recognize it well and stuck with vesa/fbsd driver)

Sound not work
Bluetooth not work
Wifi not work

only nomadBSD with some special pkg can start Xorg and Xfce4 so i think freebsd can...

bios is very restricted!

Why freebsd not have initGfx like nomad?

and sound under HDMI-1 need to be performed under video driver?
