svn diff for deskutils/calcurse: update to 4.7.0

Changes Makefile:

- moved USES to earlier position in the order of variables

- passes portlint -A
- port builds (package) fine on 12.1-, 12.2-RELEASE (can't check testport in
poudriere, no setup available at the moment)
- package works fine on amd64 12.1 and 12.2

Best regards, N.T.

Thanks for submitting this update.
I will commit this soon (sorry for not being very responsive during this end-of-year period).
Comment 4 Newton Terry 2021-03-26 04:38:08 UTC
Any chance to commit the update? Thanks.

Upstream site seems to be down (including git repo)

...and given that it's been reported almost 3 months ago I think we can assume that upstream is dead. I'd suggest that you migrate it to the GitHub repo, please follow the directions in Porter's Handbook on regarding GitHub.

Yes, I noticed it too. immediate after sending mail to freebsd-ports@. I should have checked it before. Sorry. But last time I checked upstream on 2021-03-26 (comment 4) it was online. It must happend recently.

The maintainer of the project has migrated it to GitHub.

https://github.com/lfos/calcurse.

I'll adapt the port accordingly.

git diff deskutils/calcurse update to 4.7.0

https://calcurse.org/ is online again, files directory harboring the tarballs are accessible.

Obviously the situation was temporarily. I haven't mad any changes to the port, attaching an git diff, replacing the old svn diff.

Regards,
Newton

Would nice with a mirror as upstream seems to be a bit flakey looking at the conv over at Archlinux.

Closing this report. Calcurse has released a new version, I will open a new one after updating and testing the port.

Reassigning this to myself due to maintainer timeout
Comment 18 Daniel Engberg freebsd_committer 2021-09-07 05:41:12 UTC
Hi Terry,

As this port now is returned to the pool, would you like to become maintainer of it?

Best regards,
Daniel
Comment 19 Robert Clausecker 2021-09-07 22:21:16 UTC
Hah I was just about to submit a PR for updating this port when I noticed you had already done so. If Terry doesn't want to take maintainership I can do so, too.
