Description Neel Chauhan freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2021-01-15 23:22:46 UTC
When using a Realtek RTL8821AU/TP-Link T2U Nano on a HP Spectre x360 13t-aw200 (TigerLake) running 13-ALPHA1 6483fc224b1, I get frequent disconnections and resets:

dmesg log:

rtwn0: device timeout
wlan0: link state changed to DOWN
rtwn0: ieee80211_crypto_encap returns NULL.
wlan0: ieee80211_new_state_locked: pending ASSOC -> RUN transition lost

This does not happen on the said Spectre with a CanaKit/Ralink dongle, or the same TP-Link dongle on an older HP Spectre x360 13-ap0053dx (WhiskeyLake). The latter case was used with older 13-CURRENT kernels, however.
