Description Robert Watson freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2021-02-02 23:24:09 UTC
This is a feature request:

The pkg(8) tool supports a number of environmental variables, including IGNORE_OSVERSION. It would be helpful if they had a common prefix that placed them in a more unique namespace, to avoid collisions with environmental variables used for other software. For example, PKG_IGNORE_OSVERSION.

^Triage: this is not about the package building machines.
