A bzip2 compressed typescript showing a failed build.
Qgis fails to build on freebsd-12.2-stable.
See the attached typescript file for additional info.
Thanks for reporting.
I just tried again on Poudriere with latest sources and ports and it builds fine for me on 12.2 amd64.
Looking into your attachment, there is only info about the build process. No configure, nothing about OS version, platform, Python version, etc.
Could you please provide some more info? Many thanks.
Oops! I had managed to destroy the rest of the summary line when adding
the package name in the beginning. Now the summary tells both the FreeBSD
version and hardware platform. (12.2-stable on amd64)
Python version is python37-3.7.9_1.
Grass7 is enabled.

Thanks for the infos.
As I said before, your attachment only contains part of the whole build process ;)
But let us try another way:
As no one else complains about such a build problem with graphics/qgis, it is likely that you have a local deviation in your installed ports (unusual combination of ports options, ...).
Before any next step, please check if your ports system is up to date. Especially please rebuild and reinstall devel/py-qt5-core.
Can you show the full output of 'make configure' and the contents of the config.log file, please?

A new complete typescript output after rebuilding python and all py37-* packages.
There is a problem with crssync:
gmake: *** [src/crssync/CMakeFiles/synccrsdb.dir/build.make:80: src/crssync/CMakeFiles/synccrsdb] Illegal instruction
gmake: Leaving directory '/usr/ports/graphics/qgis/work/.build'
gmake: *** [CMakeFiles/Makefile2:6803: src/crssync/CMakeFiles/synccrsdb.dir/all] Error 2
gmake: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....
I have already encountered this problem during my developments. The solution is to do a make clean, and check the dependencies between packages.

Thanks Loïc, For the pointer.
It is a bit hard to find, since the build was not ordered as suggested (via MAKE_JOBS_UNSAFE=yes) ;)
Since I (we) could not reproduce and there is new versions of qgis and its dependencies (especially pdal, grass and python modules), I close this ticket.
Feel free to open a new one if you have a problem.
