The freebsd.org/ports page has a link for the "ports hierachy". From memory, this used to link to a page that expanded out the choices inside /usr/ports. However, now it resolves to the top of the handbook (as it's tag isn't found on that page). https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/handbook/#ports-using
