Description Volodymyr Kostyrko 2021-04-14 07:23:11 UTC
Hello.

First of all big thanks for porting it, I really appreciate your effort. It's always nice to see people bringing new software.

However, I want to propose one change. Previously security/apg was quite a different software product with different set of functions. To prevent automatic upgrade and following confusion can we call this one apg-go so that would be a distinct peice of software.

Yeah, I know FIPS-181 was withdrawn years ago. But actually previous security/apg port was able to generate mixed case password with configurable length, and that's extends beyond standard limitations. Lot of people might wish to stick with old port instead of replacing it with a new piece of software right away.

Thanks in advance.

It seems that the go variant does not honor it if both -m and -x are given.
