Almost all -- if not all -- of the images are missing from the ePub version of the Handbook. I've attached an image of a page showing that none of its images are included. Although that was an image of the book in the Calibre E-Book View, I've also confirmed the problem with other viewers.

The problem seems specific to the ePub version of the Handbook since the images do appear in the PDF version.

This problem has apparently been around for quite a while: I added a reference to a bug for the same issue from over 2 years ago.

If I understand correctly, EPUB® was not a focus area around the time of transition. 

Realistically: I don't foresee anyone spearheading what's necessary to reimplement conversions to EPUB, in the near future. With some reluctance, I'll close this report. Keyword:

– and reduction in severity, to the norm for a feature request.
