I've taken the liberty to go to 0.12.3 directly, as that's the latest release per https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/gexiv2 (where's portscout when you need it?)

Your patch removed the %%DOCS%% placeholder from pkg-plist, which would've broken the port with DOCS=off (unless I missed something? but then you didn't mention that), "we can't be having with that".

Anyways, happy Gnome-upgrading.
