I propose to update domoticz to the latest version. Patch i done also adding LIBFMT dependency, with ability to use one from the source tree (same as with MQTT)

Well.
The lastest version is more or less buggy.
Even the development version has also let the dependency about libfmt.
So I really except the 2022 version to be better than this latest 2021 version.

Up to you as maintainer :) I did a very quick & dirty testing and all was seems-to-work, but your mileage may vary. Anything significant? Lets have that PR open, we can use it for the next version update or to backport patches for critical issues you found.

We don't need this port, #261602 updates that into 2022.1.
