Some recent commits to blender development has made freetypes brotli support a requirement to run blender. https://developer.blender.org/rB0830320a7ce8da31dec7c1efd97a7481784b6445 To continue allowing blender packages to be made available in the public pkg repos, this would need to be enabled by default. Does enabling BROTLI by default cause any issues or require patches to any other ports? If this introduces no issues, can we have BROTLI enabled by default?
