I upgraded to latest revision (2.5.26_1) of Urbackup Server on a TrueNAS Jail (FreeBSD 13.1-RELEASE-p2) from previous revision (2.5.26) and now it doesn’t startup. I also created a new jail with same FreeBSD release, installed latest revision of UrBackup Server and get the same problem. Here is the log: 2022-09-21 13:30:53: Starting HTTP-Server on port 55414 2022-09-21 13:30:53: HTTP: Server started up successfully! 2022-09-21 13:30:53: Generating Server private/public ECDSA key... Running urbackup-server on physical server (13.1-RELEASE-p2 amd64) and this happens for me as well. Downgraded to 2.4.15 again until fixed
The cause for this issue is probably: https://cgit.freebsd.org/ports/diff/?id=5a19c0823bb11a2d2da10a3d92a574a8aafcb661 That removed the crypto++ pkgconfig, so the alignment configuration doesn't match anymore which causes it to crash.
I am no longer maintaining this port, so release it.
Created attachment 241887 [details] fix and update to version 2.5.30 adding "--enable-embedded-cryptopp" to CONFIGURE_ARGS fixes the issue by using buildin cryptopp version. So "libcryptopp.so:security/cryptopp" can be removed as adependency. This fix comes from FreeNAS. Version changed to 2.5.30 and pkg-plist regenerated.
Created attachment 246494 [details] udated patch urbackup Version 2.5.32 for Freebsd 13.2 udated patch urbackup Version 2.5.32 for Freebsd 13.2
Hey I'm new to the whole FreeBSD port maintenance thing, but what's missing to get these updates actually applied to the port? Just someone to adopt and maintain it?
