Hi,

I don't see any package in quarterly (AMD64 or otherwise) for Electrum.

It'd be nice to be able to easily install this. Is there a build fix that would have to be backported to quarterly for it to show up?

https://www.freshports.org/finance/electrum/

Thanks!

Electrum is currently not available as a package in the quarterly branch (2023Q2) for AMD64 or any other architecture. The reason for this is that Electrum has a large number of dependencies, directly or indirectly relying on 474 ports. Unfortunately, some of these ports are currently broken in the quarterly branch. Once these issues are resolved and the necessary fixes are backported, an Electrum package will be created and made available.

I understand! Thank you for explaining.

2023Q3 was just branched a few hours ago. The new quarterly branch will contain a working electrum package once the package builders have caught up. I am therefore closing the ticket. Thank you.
