Dear Alex, I'm really sorry to hear that this wonderful project is not going ahead at the moment. I have been following the related thread closely, but I don't believe that anyone here is deliberately delaying or obstructing the necessary improvements to linuxulator. It's more likely that nobody currently has the capacity or sufficient knowledge to do so? Unfortunately, I have no skills at all to help here, but I very much hope that others with more knowledge will soon be able to move the linuxulator forward. Is there any chance of adapting the steam-utils for 64bit in the longer term or will it have to stay at 32bit? Well, anyway, I took you out of the port as maintainer as requested, too bad. Thank you very much for the many years of good work on a difficult project.
(In reply to Rainer Hurling from comment #3) > Is there any chance of adapting the steam-utils for 64bit in the longer term or will it have to stay at 32bit? This is simply upstream policy: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/3518. Valve doesn't really _need_ to keep the launcher 32-bit, but it kind of works as a sort of insurance policy against people sabotaging Steam's ability to run old games by installing it in a pure 64-bit environment, so Valve isn't in a hurry to switch either. They seem to be slowly moving towards eliminating this requirement with https://gitlab.steamos.cloud/steamrt/steam-runtime-tools/-/blob/main/docs/container-runtime.md, but they are probably not quite there yet.
