just updated initial patch file 
added a change to the hostd.yml config file

There is an issue with dependencies fetching. Wrong source versions are pulled from github. 

seems to me either wrong use of  ports-mgmt/modules2tuple or something with the port build system leading to fetching wrong tagged version, or even maybe github (doubtful)
