Looks like an upstream problem. I opened a ticket with them: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pulseaudio/pavucontrol/-/issues/177 I am just about to leave for a few weeks of vacation, if this turn out to be a pain for users, feel free to adjust the port while I am away. Thank you!
Upstream fixed this [1]. I confirm that the distfile for version 6.1 was restored. Size, sha256 checksum, and content of my archived local distfile are identical to the re-uploaded distfile. I strongly believe this can be closed, but I'm not party to this PR. [1] https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pulseaudio/pavucontrol/-/issues/177#note_3186974
Closing and issue has been resolved upstream. Thank you for reporting it!
